- Kition Archaeological Site
Choose Kition for ancient urban history, then use the district museum to place the excavated remains in context. A map of the wider ancient city is not a promise that every excavation can be entered.
- Larnaca Salt Lake
Decide whether the outing is about the wetland or the aqueduct before setting off. Bring binoculars for birdwatching and stay on the path; a flamingo sighting is never part of a guaranteed itinerary.
- Hala Sultan Tekke
This is a place of worship, not simply another lake viewpoint. Plan the religious-site visit separately from birdwatching and follow the entrance instructions on the day. Do not build a schedule that requires entering during worship.
Practical decisions
