CITY UPDATE · 16 SEPTEMBER 2026
Larnaka Municipality has published its programme for European Mobility Week, running from 16 to 22 September 2026. The announced public activities combine a short city-centre cycling event with public-transport information at Metropolis Mall.
Confirmed details
- European Mobility Week: 16–22 September 2026.
- Saturday 19 September: cycling from Europe Square to Zouhouri Square, scheduled for 09:30–10:00.
- Cyprus Public Transport information stand at Metropolis Mall, scheduled for 10:00–18:00.
- The municipal notice also lists a bus ride from Saint Lazarus Square toward Metropolis Mall around midday.
These activities are useful for visitors who want to understand central Larnaca without relying only on a hire car. Europe Square, Zouhouri Square and Saint Lazarus Square are all central reference points, while Metropolis Mall sits outside the waterfront core. The published timetable is compact, so anyone joining should check the municipal notice again before setting out.
